			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There is currently a bill to Audit the Federal Reserve before the House and Senate that has bipartisan support and makes sense for all the People of this country yet Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity (among others) never promote it on their shows.  Why is that?</p>
<p>The bill I&#8217;m speaking of is <a href="http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-1207" target="_blank">HR 1207</a> (House version) the &#8220;Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009,&#8221; aka &#8220;Audit the Fed.&#8221; and <a href="http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s111-604" target="_blank">S 604</a> (Senate version), &#8220;Federal Reserve Sunshine Act of 2009.&#8221;</p>
<p>For those not familiar with it, watch this short video of Ron Paul, who introduced the bill, discuss the reasoning behind Auditing the Fed:</p>

<p>The first question Limbaugh and Hannity need to answer for themselves is &#8220;how have the boom and busts that we have experienced the past few years come about?&#8221;</p>
<p>To understand how the Stock Market bubble (and subsequent bursting) came about, I suggest they read <a href="http://www.thomasewoods.com/books/meltdown/" target="_blank">&#8220;Meltdown&#8221;</a> by Thomas Woods, PhD.</p>
<p>Excerpt:</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>When the New York Stock Exchange closed on October 9, 2007, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was 14, 164.53, the highest close ever.  Thirteen months later on November 20, 2008, it closed at 7,552.29, a drop of 46.7 percent.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The personal dimensions of these busts are always used to justify government intervention, whether creating a &#8220;safety net&#8221; or drawing up new regulations aimed at smoothing out the cycle that is supposedly inherent in the free market.</strong></p>
<p><strong>But is this really so inevitable?  Is the market economy really prone to such sudden and inexplicable episodes of massive business error, or could something outside the market be causing it?  This is not just an academic question.  The American people, currently suffering as a falling tide lowers all boats, need and deserve the answer.</strong></p>
<p><strong>All politicians and our media drones talk about what to do next, they promise us ways to prevent another meltdown like the one we&#8217;re suffering through now.  If they&#8217;re going to come close to succeeding, they need to understand the causes of the business cycle.  What causes these violent sings?</strong></p>
<p><strong>If politicians are thorough and honest in seeking out a culprit, they aren&#8217;t going to be pleased with what they find at the end of the trail of crumbs.  It&#8217;s not &#8220;capitalism.&#8221;  It&#8217;s not &#8220;greed.&#8221;  It&#8217;s not &#8220;deregulation.&#8221;  It&#8217;s an institution created by government itself.&#8221;  P.63,64</strong></p></blockquote>
<p>Of course that &#8220;institution&#8221; Woods is referencing is &#8220;The Federal Reserve.&#8221;</p>
<p>For the Housing bubble it would help if Limbaugh and Hannity read <a href="http://mises.org/story/2936" target="_blank">&#8220;Did the Fed Cause the Housing Bubble?&#8221;</a></p>
<p>Excerpt:</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>The case against the Fed is straightforward: In an attempt to jumpstart the economy out of recession, Greenspan slashed the <a href="http://www.federalreserve.gov/fomc/fundsrate.htm">federal funds target</a> from 6.5% in January 2001 down to a ridiculous 1% by June 2003. After holding rates at 1% for a year, the Fed then steadily ratcheted them back up to 5.25% by June 2006. The connection between these moves by the central bank, versus the pumping up and popping of the housing bubble, seemed to be more than just a coincidence. On the contrary, it looked like a classic example of the Misesian theory of the business cycle, in which <a href="http://mises.org/story/2728">artificially low interest rates lead to malinvestments</a>, which then require a recession to correct.</strong></p></blockquote>
<p>It&#8217;s interesting to note that the 2008 Republican candidate for President that Limbaugh and Hannity were forced to support, John McCain, has signed on in support of the bill, one of only a few Senators thus far, as of 7/15/09.</p>
<p>To show the bipartisan support, MSNBC even did a<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rY_7aq8EFC4&amp;feature=player_embedded" target="_blank"> segment</a> with Ron Paul where the reporter and he were in agreement about auditing the Fed.</p>
<p><strong>Auditing the Fed is what the People want and Congress needs to provide.</strong></p>
<p>So why won&#8217;t Limbaugh and Hannity promote Auditing the Fed?  Is it because they never supported Ron Paul&#8217;s policies to begin with when he ran for President against their favored warmongering sons?  Policies that all of a sudden Limbaugh and Hannity back like &#8220;less spending&#8221; and &#8220;free markets?&#8221;  These media pundits never used those terms while George W. Bush was in office.</p>
<p>If Limbaugh and Hannity really were in the best interest of the People, they would support this Audit the Fed bill and advertise it on their radio shows so at a minimum the Republican Senators can get behind it.  If they don&#8217;t, then I&#8217;m afraid they will be part of the problem of why we end up with inevitable busts.<br />
<strong><br />
So to Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, I only have one thing to say; &#8220;You&#8217;re either with us or against us!&#8221;</strong></p>
<p>It&#8217;s also up to you to <a href="http://www.campaignforliberty.com/campaigns/auditthefed.php">contact your Congressional representatives</a> and get this bill passed!  They won&#8217;t know how to best represent you unless you tell them what&#8217;s on your mind&#8230;.and that you&#8217;re &#8220;Fed Up!&#8221; with the status quo that gives us <a href="http://fedupbook.com/blog/budget-deficit/the-feds-last-hurrah/" target="_blank" class="broken_link">the same empty promises!</a></p>
<p>Need further proof that the Federal Reserve needs auditing?  Look no further than to the <a href="http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2009/07/28/business/econwatch/entry5193539.shtml" target="_blank">Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke&#8217;s strong opposition to Audit the Fed!</a></p>
<p>And while you&#8217;re at it, call Limbaugh and Hannity and ask them why they don&#8217;t support the Audit the Fed Bills:</p>

<p>To get by screener you have to do a bait and switch. Talk about the topic of the day (Obama&#8217;s health care plan), make it appealing and then say hi to your host, then simply ask the question quickly and clearly: &#8220;Why don&#8217;t you support the Audit the Fed bill?&#8221;</p>
<p>Be prepared for a follow-up question. They may actually talk to you!</p>
<p>Talking points:</p>
<p>*There is little to no accountability to the people on the part of the Federal Reserve.<br />
*More than 63% of the House of Representatives support it.<br />
*Anything less than support for this resolution suggests that you are in favor of secrecy and a lack of accountability to the people who pay the bills.<br />
*We pay the tab; we have a right to know where our money is going. Wouldn&#8217;t you agree?</p>

Voting Fourth Party Part 2</p>
<p>Sandra Hamilton wrote an article on voting Fourth party that I had posted here recently.</p>
<p>There were some comments on how writing in Ron Paul could be a &#8220;wasted vote.&#8221;</p>
<p>In this sequel to her first article on writing in Ron Paul, she addresses this issue as well as presents a letter you can send to your congressman explaining why the system needs to be changed so your vote can be counted.</p>
<p>Remember, Ross Perot received 20% of the popular vote in 1996, but received ZERO electoral votes. The system is even worse now (aka rigged) so that 3rd parties won&#8217;t ever be able to debate any of the other parties.</p>
<p>It is only through the action of writing to your congressmen or eventually electing congressmen who think like we do that real change will happen.</p>
<p>Voting for those that maintain the status quo accomplishes nothing.</p>

<p>Voting Fourth Party<br />

<p>Most of the people that I know are not happy with the political choices they have for President this year. I hear lots of talk about voting against one guy or the other, but not so much talk about voting FOR anyone. There is one man, however, that a great many people wish they could vote for and that is Ron Paul. His supporters have their news page set to pick up all stories about him, they go to rallies thousands of miles away to support a man who is not even in the running anymore, and his support is not waning, in fact, it is growing.</p>
<p>Recently, Ron Paul held a <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aquLH7yAdWo&amp;feature=related">news conference</a> and suggested that people vote for a third party candidate. Notably absent from his side, was the third party candidate Bob Barr, the Libertarian Party candidate. Despite the snub, Ron Paul still stood up for Barr and others in an effort to stop the insanity. If you want change, then you have to change the way you vote. Repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.</p>
<p>I spent the day reading articles about Ron Paul’s historic speech. I found it strange that the pundits, who once ignored Ron Paul completely, suddenly were terribly interested in his opinions. It seems that as soon as Ron Paul says something that might affect the anointed ones, they must report. Would Ron Paul’s words make his supporters more or less likely to vote for McCain? Obama? Who will this affect more?</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the comments from Ron Paul supporters were all about which third party member to vote for, who should they support now? Reading between the lines it appears that his supporters are still loyal, only now they are not sure how to remain loyal.</p>
<p>If we are to accept that voting for the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil (and I do accept that premise), then why throw your vote around willy-nilly? Voting for a third party candidate simply because they are a third party candidate makes no sense. You still have to use your mind in this election. You still have to choose a candidate to vote FOR.</p>
<p>At this point in this article I had intended to tell people that wish to vote for Ron Paul to do so by writing his name in on the ballot. I have bad news. Research revealed that in most states, a candidate must jump through a bunch of legal hoops to have their names counted as a write-in. The supposed argument is that you are never actually voting for a candidate, just a slate of electors who will go to the Electoral College to vote for your candidate and if those electors are not registered ahead of time, then in fact, you are not voting for anyone.</p>
<p>However, some states have managed to do away with all that nonsense. This is a nice <a href="http://writein2008.blogspot.com/search/label/Delaware">page</a> that breaks down the rules state by state, but as rules are constantly changing, I ask that you please check the rules for your state and not rely on the information in that link. My question is, if some states can allow you to vote for whomever you wish why can’t they all? What is so difficult about allowing the American people to pick the person they want to be President? Why is this so dangerous?</p>
<p>Every year we get these huge get-out-the-vote drives that are designed to legitimize a system and to make you think you have a choice. If you knew you did not have a choice you might balk a little. So they pretend to give you a choice between a statist and another statist and do everything in their power to prevent you from hearing the non-statist point of view and if you dare to learn of it on your own, they will stop you from being able to vote for your particular candidate. They are good at it.</p>
<p>This year I find myself with a huge dilemma. I typically vote Libertarian, but this year I cannot. I do not like the candidate. I choose not to support that candidate. I also do not like the other third party candidates. If I vote against a guy, then I am telling the guy I voted for that I like him. That would be false and I do not want to send that message. If I similarly vote Libertarian no matter who the candidate is, then I am telling the Libertarian Party that I do not care who they choose, but I do care. I do not want this year’s candidate to be President. I initially thought I would just write-in Ron Paul and feel good about myself. It turns out, much to my chagrin, that my state has one of those laws that will not count write in candidates unless the candidate filed certain papers and has not already lost a primary. (They call it the sore loser law. But if the people later discover they like the loser better than the winner, where is the harm in letting them choose?) So if I vote for Ron Paul, it will be counted as a &#8220;write-in&#8221; but not as a vote for Paul.</p>
<p>I have gone over this multiple times. Do I support the Libertarian Party even though I do not support the candidate? That goes against my principles. Do I choose any other third party to send a message? Again, that goes against my principles. I choose not to vote against people but to vote for them. Therefore, I am left with the decision to write in the name Ron Paul. I think he would make a great President. I know my vote will not count as a vote for Dr. Paul, but it will be counted in the generic category of &#8220;write-ins.&#8221; When they show the total of people in my state who do not like the choices they were given I will be among them. And that is the message I truly want to send with my vote. I do not accept your chosen few. I am an American and as so I believe I have the right to vote for whom I choose.</p>
<p>Perhaps if enough people also wrote-in their vote, these draconian write-in laws will be removed. In Delaware, for example, (correct me if I am wrong) if you write in a candidate, that vote will count, period. I think we all have that right.</p>
<p>I thought about not voting at all because I do not want to legitimize the system, but those non-votes are simply seen as apathy. I am not apathetic. I am passionate: Extremely passionate for liberty.</p>
<p>So this election, I will be making a statement. I will vote for the man I believe to be the best candidate, I will do my best to expose a corrupt system that prevents most of us from making a real choice, and I will sleep well. If you feel the same way, I ask you to join me. Even writing in &#8220;none of the above&#8221; sends a message. I ask you to think about the message you wish to send with your vote. If you want change then change.</p>

<p>I think this is a perfectly written article that Lew Rockwell posted!  I wrote an article on another website back in March that Ron Paul should leave the Republican Party: <a href="http://www.nolanchart.com/article3131.html" target="_blank">http://www.nolanchart.com/article3131.html</a> &#8211; I keep wondering why he won&#8217;t make the move to run, but he still thinks he can make a difference in the House being the minority vote against the evil duopoly (even though we know he&#8217;s almost always right!).</p>
<p>While the revolution will evolve, and I am writing to further the cause, I just wish I could have my vote count for Ron Paul, but alas, will &#8220;feel good about myself&#8221; by voting for whom I want to be President, just like you!  Maybe by next election we can get the write-in candidate approved in advance, but then we have that electoral problem whereby Ross Perot received 20% of the votes, but received ZERO electoral votes.  Like &#8220;not voting for anyone&#8221; indeed! Ugh!</p>

<p>I&#8217;m mixing up my normal type of support article for Ron Paul&#8230;.frustration sometimes does this to me! I want to see if just by adding the name &#8220;Britney Spears&#8221; to a Ron Paul article if viewership will increase by any significant amount. But in writing the article, I actually have come to like the idea it represents!</p>
<p><strong>Britney Spears and Ron Paul should be hooked at the hip like the two actors, Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear, in the movie, &#8220;Stuck on You.&#8221; </strong></p>
<p>This will accomplish one of two things. It will either stop the media flurry over Britney Spears where she can lead a normal life again as the paparazzi won&#8217;t follow her around any longer or it will cause the media to report on the every move of Ron Paul.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t write this article in a &#8220;Spoof&#8221; or &#8220;Wonkette&#8221; mocking manner. There is a degree of seriousness to it. I do realize it is &#8220;somewhat&#8221; far-fetched or wishful thinking, but desperate times call for desperate action! Nothing has worked so far right?</p>
<p>TMZ, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, you know&#8230;what America watches each night for an hour, along with the regular media&#8217;s consistent reporting, would give Ron Paul all the coverage he needs between now and November.</p>
<p>Seriously, what do you think would happen? The media can&#8217;t get enough of Britney Spears! Ron Paul would finally get some coverage!&#8230;.except on Fox News of course&#8230;but only war loving neocons watch that channel anyway&#8230;.</p>
<p>Imagine that&#8230;Britney Spears would become an American Hero! The headlines would be; &#8220;Britney Spears Helps Save America!&#8221; or &#8220;Britney Spears Helps Save the Dollar!&#8221; But the best aspect to it all is <strong>Ron Paul would finally get the media coverage that is coming to him. </strong>As a matter of fact, it would make up for all the media coverage he HASN&#8217;T received over the last year! His &#8220;message&#8221; would finally get through to the masses!</p>
<p>Take that biased MSM!</p>
<p>Now all we need to do is draft Britney Spears into the rEVOLution! She may not be the perfect campaign spokesperson, but we&#8217;d put a gag order on her and just use Britney for her uncanny ability to draw media attention. It would probably keep her out of trouble having a good fatherly figure around her and she would have some appeal to the youth vote! Hey, we need the votes!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m not trying to second guess Ron Paul, but the following is what I believe needs to happen in order for Ron Paul&#8217;s &#8220;message&#8221; to have the most lasting impact.</p>
<p>What makes Ron Paul think that sticking with the Republican Party is going to accomplish his campaign goal of Liberty? 95% of Republican voters have spoken thus far and they want to stay with a Party that loves war, spends like there&#8217;s no tomorrow and will trounce liberty at every waking opportunity.</p>
<p>Ron Paul thinks he can transform this party back to what it used to be when the party&#8217;s platform stood for a humble foreign policy, limited government and liberty for all.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m sorry Ron, this just isn&#8217;t going to happen.</p>
<p>The problem is the media isn&#8217;t going to do you any favors from this point forward because they consider the Republican race over. At best, you might get a spot on the Republican stage to speak but if the rest of the Republican party is trying to &#8220;unify&#8221; itself, then why would they want someone on stage who is going to have an opposite view to theirs? They don&#8217;t want anyone on stage who will hurt their warmongering candidate&#8217;s chance!</p>
<p>So now is the time to run as a 3rd party candidate. You did it once before Ron. You can do it again!</p>
<p>You can run under the <a href="http://www.lp.org/">Libertarian Party</a> as you did before, or the under the <a href="http://www.constitutionparty.com/">Constitution Party</a> as we all know your support of the Law of the Land.</p>
<p>You will have the full support of the rEVOLution behind you. You&#8217;ll have eight more months to get the &#8220;message&#8221; out to those who haven&#8217;t heard it or don&#8217;t understand it. You &#8220;might&#8221; be given a chance to debate the other two candidates and this can show the world once and for all the real differences you have with them. This is the chance for you to shine!</p>
<p>The dollar is continuing to tank and you are the only one who has solutions to stop it. We have become an imperialistic nation and you are the only one who wants to bring the troops home from 130 different countries. Government has grown too big and you are the only candidate with the guts to cut out entire departments. The IRS taxes our labor and uses that money to pay off government debt and you are the only candidate who wants to let us keep what we earn by eliminating the income tax.</p>
<p>We know why you are needed to save America, but how can your message be heard by a larger audience? Let&#8217;s look at the recent history of a successful 3rd party run for the presidency.</p>
<p>Ross Perot was allowed to debate in the <a href="http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2000/debates/history.story/1992.html" class="broken_link">1992 Presidential Debate</a> because he was polling good numbers. In 1996 he was <a href="http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2000/debates/history.story/1996.html" class="broken_link">only polling 5%</a> and wasn&#8217;t invited to the debate.</p>
<p>I had written to pollster Rasmussen Reports just before Super Tuesday to find out why Ron Paul wasn&#8217;t included in their list of candidates on their home page despite beating Giuliani and Thompson in various state caucuses and elections. They wrote back saying that &#8220;he&#8217;s not polling at 10% nationally,&#8221; and that &#8220;as soon as he polls 10% nationally, we&#8217;ll include him.&#8221;</p>
<p>So 10% seems to be the magic number for recognition. To get Ron Paul in the presidential debate he has to poll north of 10%. To poll north of 10%, the grassroots effort needs to continue making phone calls and going door to door and spreading the &#8220;message.&#8221;</p>
<p>There are no guarantees, but if this goal of 10% is obtained, anything can happen. There&#8217;s still time to do this as I&#8217;ve written about <a href="../../article3086.html" class="broken_link">here</a>.</p>
<p>The electoral system is slanted to where two parties dominate via delegates as many of you know. As it stands, the system is so screwed up and biased that for the democrat primaries right now it&#8217;s coming down to what are called &#8220;superdelegates.&#8221; Since neither candidate has garnered enough regular delegates to win the primary outright, it comes down to a select group of people (superdelegates) who get to decide who will represent them come November. Naturally Obama and Clinton are throwing <a href="http://www.capitaleye.org/inside.asp?ID=336" class="broken_link">hundreds of thousands of dollars</a> at these people to woo their vote!</p>
<p>These delegates are what wins national Presidential elections. You may remember that Gore won the popular vote in 2000, but George Bush won the election because he won the delegate count with some last minute Florida shenanigans.</p>
<p>So what does this have to do with Ron Paul? Everything. Ron Paul doesn&#8217;t stand a chance of getting too many delegates come November now that he is out of the Republican race (not completely out, but realistically out). Ross Perot, even though he garnered almost 20% of the popular vote in 1992, had zero delegates to his name. Knowing this outcome in advance means that Ron Paul needs to concentrate on getting his message out to those whom might not have heard it. He will be more successful doing this as a 3rd party candidate. It will also help this 3rd party garner national recognition and become a player in future elections.</p>
<p>This means he should take the Republican campaign donations he has left and concentrate on getting his &#8220;message&#8221; out to as many people as possible by radio and mail (the lowest cost way to reach the most people). Then he can start a new fundraiser under the party he elects. If he continues to run, people will find a way to give.</p>
<p>If by some miracle Ron Paul was able to debate McCain and the Superdelegates choice for the Democrats, then he would be allowed to demonstrate the urgency of his <a href="http://www.ronpaul2008.com/prosperity">economic revitalization plan</a> to save America.</p>
<p>And if by some miracle Ron Paul were to win the popular vote and garner zero or a few delegates, the system would once and for all be demanded to change by the voice of We The People.</p>
<p>Just look at where The People have allowed their elected officials to take our great nation:</p>
<p>1. We are the world&#8217;s largest debtor nation: <a href="http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/">U.S. National Debt</a>: Now OVER $9.4 Trillion.</p>
<p>2. We have a never ending <a href="http://www.census.gov/foreign-trade/statistics/historical/gands.txt">trade deficit</a> because we don&#8217;t produce anything here in America any longer.</p>
<p>3. We always have a budget deficit adding to our debt each year because congress is either <a href="../../article3009.html" class="broken_link">stupid or ignorant</a>.</p>
<p>4. Look what this &#8220;New&#8221; Republican party platform has <a href="http://futures.tradingcharts.com/chart/US/M">done to the dollar.</a></p>
<p>5. Future obligations of <a href="http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2007-05-28-federal-budget_N.htm?csp=34">over $59 trillion</a>.</p>
<p>6. We fight unnecessary wars that are bankrupting this country and this hasn&#8217;t done much to help the price of oil and gas now has it?</p>
<p>&#8220;We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, <strong>it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government</strong>, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.</p>
<p>Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly <strong>all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils</strong> <strong>are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.</strong> But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, <strong>it is their right, it is</strong> <strong>their duty, to throw off such Government</strong>, and to provide new Guards for their future security.&#8221;</p>
<p>For me to even quote the Declaration of Independence in the future might be a jail-able offense. How have we let our elected officials do this to us?</p>
<p>There is still time to make a difference in the future of America!</p>
<p>Ron Paul needs to take a 3rd party to the next level of his &#8220;Hope for America&#8221; Presidential Campaign. Naturally, the faithful will follow.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Is Ron Paul making the right decision with his &#8220;next phase&#8221; in spreading the &#8220;message&#8221; and moving the revolution forward? My criticism and recommendations for Ron Paul and all of us to consider as we continue the fight for Individual Liberty, Free Markets, Private Property, Sound Money, and A Non-interventionist Foreign Policy!</p>
<p>Sure revolutions take time. The American Revolution lasted eight and a half years, while the French Revolution went on for ten years.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, America doesn&#8217;t have that much time and if we want to make a difference in her future, NOW is the time to act. Like any great revolution, you need a great leader, and we have one in Ron Paul.</p>
<p>But I don&#8217;t believe that even Ron Paul understands how he can best take this movement forward. According to the latest <a href="http://ronpaul2008.typepad.com/ron_paul_2008/2008/03/ron-pauls-messa.html">message</a> to his supporters, he said that &#8220;elections are short term efforts and revolutions are long term projects.&#8221; He then goes on to say he wants to &#8220;plan for the next phase&#8221; and that this phase would be &#8220;grassroots, not top down.&#8221;</p>
<p>His solution seems to be twofold at present (I&#8217;m not including an analysis of his book as it hasn&#8217;t been released yet and will address the &#8220;march&#8221; later in this article).</p>
<p>First, he wants to get people elected who share the &#8220;Liberty&#8221; vision as outlined in the <a href="http://www.libertypac.net/">Liberty Political Action Committee</a> whose mission is &#8220;to help fund and elect conservative, pro-Constitution, pro-liberty, pro-American sovereignty candidates who share Congressman Ron Paul&#8217;s commitment to the values and principles our nation was founded upon.&#8221;</p>
<p>That&#8217;s fine, and of course needed for the revolution to succeed.</p>
<p>Secondly, he directs us to the <a href="http://www.free-nefl.com/">F.R.E.E. Foundation</a> which according to their website; &#8220;is a non-profit, non-partisan, educational foundation dedicated to public education on the principles of free-market economics, sound money and limited government.&#8221;</p>
<p>Again, sounds like it fits right in with the revolution.</p>
<p>But when you look further at this site, you see that it&#8217;s not well organized. For example, the National Endowment for Liberty (NEFL), a separate project of FREE, &#8220;was established in 1989 to develop programs that take advantage of the enormous potential of electronic media to pursue the mission of FREE. We believe that through mass communication we can attract public interest and significantly strengthen awareness of the moral, cultural and institutional foundations of the American political system.&#8221;</p>
<p>When you go to the page describing this project <a href="http://www.free-nefl.com/html/nefl.html">here</a>, you find that NEFL &#8220;developed and produced the &#8220;At Issue&#8221; television series that was seen on the Discovery Network and CNBC national cable television networks. &#8220;At Issue&#8221; examines American public policy and how political, economic and social institutions interact with the principles of American constitutional government, and does so in an entertaining and fast-paced, commercial-television format, while remaining commercial-free and entirely educational.&#8221; These videos are great titles! The problem is that you can&#8217;t find any of the videos available on the site.</p>
<p>This group has been around since 1989 and there is no access to their work on their own site?</p>
<p>This leads me to the conclusion that Ron Paul isn&#8217;t ready for the revolution to continue via his &#8220;next phase&#8221; quite yet and also leads me to the conclusion that he needs to continue the first phase and that is continue his run for the presidency!</p>
<p>Before I address that, I&#8217;d like to discuss the proposed &#8220;march&#8221; on Washington D.C. tentatively planned for June 21st.</p>
<p>Many of you may not know, but there was already a <a href="http://www.saveamericafund.org/truckers-boycott.php" class="broken_link">rally</a> across America by the truckers as they were opposed to the &#8220;NAU (North American Union) and NAFTA&#8217;s demand for us to allow tens of thousands of Mexican truckers and their trucking companies into America.&#8221; I monitored the media after their first event in April of last year and didn&#8217;t see or hear anything about it. Evidently there was another rally in June of last year that I didn&#8217;t even hear about anywhere.</p>
<p>If we are to use the time of the weekend of June 21<sup>st</sup> to march on Washington D.C., what guarantee will there be of media coverage? Hasn&#8217;t the media already proven to us that they won&#8217;t give Ron Paul or his supporters any press time (unless it is negative of course).</p>
<p>What happens if a whacked out Ron Paul supporter (or neocon infiltrator disguised as a neo-nazi Ron Paul supporter) did something unthinkable during the march and opened fire on the Whitehouse? What would this do for the revolution and the message?</p>
<p>Wouldn&#8217;t the time spent traveling to, the day of the march, and traveling home after the march be better spent talking to 1000 people in our own backyard? Imagine if all of us would just go talk to more people what an impact that would have where media would be a non-factor! Isn&#8217;t word of mouth how many of us first heard about Ron Paul to begin with? We need to turn ignorance into enlightenment!</p>
<p>Even with all of our current efforts in getting the message out, the results were about a 5% nationwide vote for Ron Paul. This clearly shows that the revolution will take time, but to expect it to continue based on this &#8220;new phase,&#8221; is hopeful at best. Ron Paul needs to run as a 3<sup>rd</sup> party candidate and garner eight more months of attention from the grassroots efforts of all the Paulites going door to door or calling the lists provided by the campaign.</p>
<p>Phase one is still alive and we must market the message of &#8220;Individual Liberty, Free Markets, Private Property, Sound Money, and A Non-interventionist Foreign Policy, &#8221; all the way to November!</p>
<p>Ron Paul can run as the candidate for the Libertarian Party or Constitution Party, it matters not. The way the system is set up with delegates, he more than likely won&#8217;t stand a chance of being elected, but he could very well win the popular vote if enough of us go out and do our job! This would result in having to bring about a change in our electoral college farce of a system where only a few really decide who gets elected. And we still do have some hidden delegates that can show support&#8230;.<span style="text-decoration: underline;">AND eight more months</span>&#8230;.so you never know!</p>
<p>Call me a dreamer, but the marketing of the rEVOLution couldn&#8217;t have a better time frame in which to get <a href="http://youcanmakeadifference.org/fedup/archives/3">&#8220;the message&#8221;</a> out to the masses. Americans are &#8220;Fed Up&#8221; and only <a href="http://youcanmakeadifference.org/fedup/">&#8220;You Can Make A Difference!&#8221;</a></p>
<p>Time is of the essence! Don&#8217;t give up the ship!</p>
<p>JMHO and open to support, ridicule, praise or abuse by all as we still live in a Free America! Tomorrow we might not be able to speak our minds!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The Republican nominee for President will more than likely be decided by February 5th, otherwise known as <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Duper_Tuesday">Super Tuesday</a>. Whether or not Ron Paul wins the Republican nomination for President by that time is irrelevant because either way, as the Republican nominee or as a 3rd party candidate, the rEVOLution he has started will continue to November and beyond. He has &#8220;the message&#8221; and he will possess the money necessary to succeed.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Ron Paul is sly as a fox. When he decided to run for President in March of 2007, he knew his chances we</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">re slim that he would be elected. For Ron, it was more about &#8220;The Message.&#8221; </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">It is &#8220;The Message&#8221; that over the last year has gathered momentum and has spawned a rEVOLution which has a different meaning for every American. For some &#8220;the message&#8221; and the rEVOLution is about not following the Constitution by fighting undeclared wars. For others it&#8217;s about securing our borders and taking away the free incentives for illegal&#8217;s to come here. &#8220;The message&#8221; could be about being pro-life or eliminating the income tax. There is no one issue that applies to all, but rather an array of issues that appeal to each of us individually. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">So why is Ron Paul leading a rEVOLution? The answer is simple. The Left and the Right have taken this nation to the brink of bankruptcy. The reason? Our elected representatives cannot live within their means, they spend like there&#8217;s no tomorrow, and police the world like they&#8217;ve been appointed by God to do so. But, more importantly, is &#8220;how&#8221; they get away with their actions. They do it through the hidden tax called inflation and they get away with it because Americans can&#8217;t see the immediate effect. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Allow me to explain.When one receives their paycheck each week, they feel the immediate effect of taxes being levied as they get to spend what&#8217;s left. They don&#8217;t feel the effect of inflation till they fill up their cars with gas or go to the grocery store and buy the necessities to live a comfortable life and realize that something has happened. The paycheck that used to buy all they need to live comfortably has come up short in purchasing basic necessities and there are still bills to be paid that a few years ago their paycheck covered. How can this be? The answer is &#8220;inflation.&#8221; </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Inflation is simply, the increase in <a href="http://www.investorwords.com/3110/money_supply.html">money supply</a>. When the money supply is increased, you have to pay more for things. Why? Because a company has to raise their prices to maintain its wealth and overall profitability. There are also supply and demand issues as to why prices go higher, but we&#8217;ll leave that part of the equation out of this analysis for simplicity except for a few examples below. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The reason you are paying more for anything is because the Federal Reserve creates too much money allowing our government to live beyond its means.It’s easy to do when all the government has to do in receiving more money is borrow from the Federal Reserve who creates it out of thin air.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Here&#8217;s how it works, from </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">the Federal Reserve Pamphlet, &#8220;Putting it simply…. The Federal Reserve – Federal Reserve Bank of Boston: </span></p>
<p><span><em><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">&#8220;The authority to print money is an important power for any government to possess, and congress has delegated that power to the Federal Reserve.Of course, along with the Federal Reserves authority to create money comes the responsibility to ensure that the money retains its value.In setting monetary policy, the Fed seeks to provide enough money to accommodate steady economic growth without upsetting the economy&#8217;s equilibrium. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">At the same time the Federal Reserve has a clear responsibility not </span></em><em><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">to provide too much money, since a sharp jump in the money supply could upset the economy&#8217;s balance.&#8221;</span></em></span></p>
<p><span><em></em><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">How has the money supply affected inflation historically? Has their actions caused a &#8220;sharp jump in the money supply upsetting the economy&#8217;s balance?&#8221; Lets look at this <a href="http://www.nowandfutures.com/images/m2m3_cpi_money_supply_and_inflation_link.png" class="broken_link">chart</a> and see. As you can see from the chart, inflation is much higher than the government&#8217;s version of it via the <a href="http://www.bls.gov/cpi/cpifaq.htm#Question_1">CPI</a>. This chart shows you the reason why the government will <a href="http://www.inflationdata.com/inflation/Inflation_Articles/M3_Money_supply.asp">no longer be publishing the M3 money supply data.</a> They don&#8217;t want you to know about the 15% increase in M3 in the last year as John Williams from <a href="http://www.shadowstats.com/">Shadow Government Statistics</a> has calculated.</span></span></p>

<p><span><em></em><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">To understand this further, we must define how money works.According to the &#8220;Putting it Simply&#8221; pamphlet, the Fed says that;<em> &#8220;</em></span><em><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">For money to work in its three principal roles &#8212; as a medium of exchange, as a store of value, and as a measure of value &#8212; it must have two characteristics; 1. it must be relatively scarce, and 2. it must be widely accepted.&#8221;</span></em></span></p>

<p><span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">So how has The Fed done? This can be answered in how weak the dollar is versus other major currencies. The <a href="http://www.akmos.com/main/forex/usdx.html">U.S. dollar index</a>, established in 1973, was trading at 122 in 2001 and today has fallen to near its all time low at just over 76. The U.S. Dollar has lost on average, over 37% versus the other major currencies in the last 7 years and even lost to historically weaker currencies like the <a href="http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/storypage.aspx?StoryId=101574" class="broken_link">Philippine Peso </a>which has gained 28% on the dollar in the last 28 months alone. This is what happens when you&#8217;re the world&#8217;s largest <a href="http://www.stockformation.investopedia.com/terms/d/debtor_nation.asp">debtor nation</a>..</span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">But the U.S. dollar is only part of the inflationary problem.Oil was under $30 a barrel in 2003, before the Iraq war started, and recently hit $100.Gasoline prices have doubled since 2003. Food prices have been rising in double digits and there is currently a <a href="http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/99d5d860-c86f-11dc-94a6-0000779fd2ac.html?nclick_check=1">long period of rising food prices forecast</a>. </span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Inflation is a hidden tax and it is compounded by an interventionist foreign policy.</span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The major way we are paying for the wars we wage and our policing of the world is through inflation. Instead of paying down our debt, which now stands at over 9 trillion dollars, our armed forces are stationed in 130 different nations and currently waging two wars with a realistic threat of more.All the while, our own borders are left <a href="http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=516">unprotected</a>.</span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">So to recap, when U.S. dollars are increased (money supply) the dollar&#8217;s purchasing power has decreased (inflation). Imagine for a moment your paycheck having 37% less over the last few years.If you felt the immediate visual effect of this inflation being subtracted from your paycheck, you&#8217;d be mad as hell and probably also shout, &#8220;I&#8217;m not going to take this anymore!&#8221; Well guess what?This HAS happened to you and you should be &#8220;mad as hell!&#8221;If this describes you, then welcome to Ron Paul&#8217;s rEVOLution and know that he not only wants to cure inflation by installing sound money principles, but he also wants to give you more of your paycheck by eliminating the income tax. Imagine the effect this would have on our economy if you were taking home MORE money and NOT feeling the effects of inflation? </span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">But one can&#8217;t get rid of inflation and wars until they get rid of the root cause of these, the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve has not lived up to their promise for money to be a &#8220;store of value.&#8221;Also, money is not anymore &#8220;relatively scarce&#8221; and more and more people and countries are not &#8220;widely accepting&#8221; U.S. dollars.<a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/01/09/AR2006010901042_pf.html">China</a>, for example, removed the U.S. dollar peg in 2005 and is now pegging the Yuan to a basket of international currencies (although the dollar is still a part of the basket).. Today, the Yuan has appreciated about 14% versus the U.S. dollar since losing its 100% dollar peg.</span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The Federal Reserve is the cancer that has grown stemming from flawed decisions in the year 1913 under the Wilson administration when it was created. The Federal Reserve truly is the evil spoken about in the Bible, Romans 12:9 &#8220;</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #001320; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Abhor that which is evil.&#8221;</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';"> Without eradicating the Federal Reserve cancer, you can&#8217;t get rid of the inflation and wars. Ron Paul wants to eliminate the <a href="http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4245169480003136735&amp;pr=goog-sl">evil power</a> held by the Federal Reserve. </span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">How many other candidates currently running on the Left or the Right have any clue to all of this? What they will do is continue with the same garbage in, garbage out routine that will do nothing but drive our nation further into the black hole of never ending debt.</span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">So what is &#8220;The Message?&#8221; The Message is different for each and every one of us. For many, it is a combination of issues. For some, it is only one issue that&#8217;s most important to them. All of these issues are centered on one cause which they have in common; Liberty, and one solution; the Constitution. This is what Ron Paul stands for. </span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">By eliminating one of these Left and Right tools of destruction, The Federal Reserve, and thus inflation and the ability to fund undeclared wars, our government will have to live within its means and thus we all will have the Freedom to live a more prosperous life, maintaining our wealth and we&#8217;ll also be able to pass that prosperity on to our heirs. Isn&#8217;t this the way our forefathers envisioned America to be? </span></span></p>
<p><span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">So come February 5th, we&#8217;ll have some answers about how America currently thinks. So far, by the voting that has been occurring in some states, America isn&#8217;t thinking too well. Will we continue the destructive course with continued inflation and the Federal Reserve that has our great nation on the verge of bankruptcy or will we be choosing Prosperity and Liberty by casting our vote for Ron Paul? Either way, &#8220;the message&#8221; will continue to spread and Ron Paul will be leading the rEVOLution to November and beyond.</span></span></p>
